Your completion timeline will depend on how many credits you’ve already earned, how many classes you take per quarter, and how many transfer credits you receive. After you are confirmed, you and your advisor will set-up an academic plan mapping out your course to completion. Applicants to the B.A. degree completion programs must meet the following admissions requirements:

• Must be a minimum of 22 years of age at the time of admission
• Cannot be concurrently enrolled in any Seattle University program outside of the School of New and Continuing Studies
• Must have earned the equivalent of at least 60 hours of quarter college credit (or 40 hours of semester credit)
• Must have a minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 2.00

YES, you can receive Federal Financial Aid to help pay for this degree. To get started on the process, complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid and list Seattle University as the school you will be attending.

Course content is delivered mostly online, but all courses require two face-to-face evening meetings per month, so you do need to be able to attend evenings classes a couple of times a month.

In the personal essay, you should demonstrate why you are now ready to complete your bachelor’s degree and why this program is a good fit for your educational, professional, and/or personal goals. The essay should be 400-600 words and should be an example of your best college-level writing.

For fall, spring, and summer terms, applications are due two weeks before the start of the term. Due to the winter holiday, applications for winter term are due three weeks before the start of the term. You can find term start dates here.
